FULL SWING – REFUND & RETURN POLICY

1. Purpose and Scope

This Refund & Return Policy applies to all Full Swing beverages sold directly by Full Swing Energy (Pty) Ltd (“Full Swing”, “we”, “our”). It sets forth the terms governing the return, replacement, and refund of products supplied by us.

By placing an order with us, the customer (“you”, “your”) acknowledges and agrees to be bound by this policy.


2. Eligibility for Returns

Returns are permitted only under the following conditions:

  • Damaged or defective products due to manufacturing or transit-related faults.

  • Unopened and unused products in their original packaging (subject to conditions under Section 5).

Return requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery and must follow the authorised return process.

Full Swing reserves the right to reject claims that do not meet the criteria outlined in this policy.


3. Manufacturing Defects vs Storage Faults

3.1 Manufacturing Defects

Manufacturing defects are defined as faults present at the time of manufacture or before delivery, such as:

  • Ruptured seams or factory-related leaks

  • Significant production malfunctions causing structural failure

Manufacturing claims must be made within 14 days of delivery.

Full Swing reserves the right to require the return of the affected product and batch code verification before approving any claim.

3.2 Improper Storage / Handling

Full Swing is not liable for any product faults or deterioration resulting from improper storage or mishandling after delivery. Claims will not be approved where:

  • Products were exposed to excessive heat (above 35°C), direct sunlight, freezing conditions, or humidity

  • The integrity of packaging has been compromised due to poor stacking or handling

  • Product damage was caused by customer or third-party conduct after delivery

It is the customer’s responsibility to handle and store the product correctly from the time of delivery.


4. Reporting Damaged or Incorrect Items

4.1 Reporting Requirements

All damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. To submit a claim:

  • Email hello@drinkfullswing.com with the following:

    • Photos clearly showing the damage

    • Images of outer packaging (including shipping box)

    • Visible batch code (on the base or side)

    • Order number and delivery date

Full Swing may require the affected products to be returned for inspection. Only the damaged stock will be eligible for replacement under this clause.

4.2 What Qualifies as Damage

  • Significant dents affecting structural integrity

  • Punctures or ruptured seams causing leaks

  • Packaging damage that renders the product unfit for sale or consumption

Cosmetic imperfections or minor dents that do not affect performance do not qualify.


5. Returns of Unopened Products

Returns of unopened and unused products (in original condition) may be accepted if the following conditions are met:

  • The customer contacts sales@drinkfullswing.com within 30 days of purchase

  • The return is approved in writing

  • Products are returned in the same condition as received

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For prepaid labels provided by Full Swing, the return cost will be deducted from any refund issued.

International customers must arrange and pay for return shipping unless otherwise agreed.


6. Refunds & Credits

Upon receipt and inspection of returned goods:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (minus any shipping or handling fees)

  • Wholesale clients may opt for store credit for future orders

Refunds will not be issued for unauthorised returns or for stock returned in unsellable condition due to improper storage or handling.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.


7. Storage & Handling Guidelines

To preserve product quality and safety, all Full Swing beverages must be stored as follows:

  • Temperature: Between 2°C and 28°C. Do not expose to temperatures above 35°C or below freezing.

  • Environment: Keep in a cool, dry, shaded area with ventilation. Avoid direct sunlight and humidity.

  • Stacking: Do not exceed safe stacking heights. Over stacking can cause pressure damage.

  • Handling: Handle boxes and cans with care. Do not drop, crush, or expose to heavy weight.

  • Chilling Before Consumption: For best taste and carbonation, refrigerate cans for 4–6 hours before drinking.

Failure to comply with these guidelines will invalidate any subsequent claim related to product performance or quality.


8. Unauthorised Returns

Products returned without prior authorisation or without a Return Reference Number (RRN) may:

  • Be rejected and not refunded

  • Incur additional return shipping fees payable by the customer

  • Be disposed of if deemed unsellable or unsafe

Full Swing reserves the right to refuse any return not properly authorized or that does not comply with this policy.


9. Legal

9.1 Liability Disclaimer

Full Swing Energy (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any product degradation, malfunction, or loss resulting from:

  • Improper storage, handling, or third-party transport after delivery

  • Exposure to conditions outside of approved storage guidelines

  • Unauthorized repackaging or modifications

  • Delayed reporting or insufficient evidence to support a claim

The risk of loss and responsibility for maintaining product condition transfers to the customer upon delivery.

9.2 Limitation of Remedies

The sole remedy for a verified defect or eligible return is limited to:

  • Replacement of affected stock; or

  • Refund of the original purchase amount (excluding shipping)

Under no circumstances shall Full Swing be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

9.3 Governing Law

This policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this policy will be resolved exclusively in South African courts.

9.4 Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with this policy or to provide reasonable evidence for claims may result in rejection of any refund, replacement, or credit request.
